What is the NFFR?
The NFFR is the founder and proud supporter of the Institute of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery. We raise funds to help children and adults with facial anomalies get the treatment they need and can’t afford.

What is the IRPS?
The Institute of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery at NYU’s Langone Medical Center is the internationally renowned treatment center where patients with craniofacial anomalies are treated and surgeries are performed.

Does the NFFR treat patients?
No. Medical treatment takes place at the IRPS. The NFFR is a nonprofit organization which raises funds to support the IRPS’s comprehensive treatment of patients, its groundbreaking research, and renowned educational programs.

Does the IRPS only treat children?
No. While many of the IRPS’s patients are children, the IRPS also treats adults with congenital or acquired craniofacial deformities.

My family member needs medical assistance, whom do I contact?
Please contact the IRPS directly at 212-263-5834. The IRPS team may be able to help you with your medical needs.

Can you help me to finance treatment?
Not directly. The NFFR provides financial support to patients through its support of the IRPS. We do not give money directly to patients or families.

Do you pay for transportation to the IRPS?
No, but we encourage you to contact our friends at Angel Flight America.

Do you have housing for my family while my child undergoes surgery?
Yes, the NFFR has a Family Apartment located directly across the street from the hospital.  For more information on availability and rates please call Deborah or Sandra at 212-263-6656.

How do I donate to the NFFR?
You can send a check payable to the NFFR to 333 East 30th Street, Lobby Unit, New York, NY 10016.

Can I donate online?
Yes. Donating online is a quick and easy way to support the treatment of children and adults with craniofacial differences. To keep the credit-card processing fees as low as possible, the NFFR runs its online donations through GiveDirect, which is the name that will appear on your credit-card statement.
