Young Professionals Association - YPA
The YPA of the NFFR was established in 2001 to promote a new generation of donors and raise funds for the NFFR by bringing young professionals together in a social setting that is both fun and informative. In our journey to accomplish this goal

the YPA strives to spread the mission of the NFFR and promote social awareness of the seriousness of craniofacial deformities.

Past YPA Events
Wine Tasting - September 9, 2004
Over 75 Young Professionals attended the second Wine Tasting fundraiser to raise money and awareness of the NFFR. The event was held at Metro Lounge in midtown Manhattan featured three white and three red wines presented with a brief description by a wine expert. The evening continued with greetings from the YPA President Samantha Maltin and Vice-President

Felicia Gordon. The event raised over $3,000 which was earmarked for the reconstructive treatment of Michael a ten year old boy from upstate NY who suffers from severe TMJ (lockjaw). He had his first surgery in June 2005 to enable him to open his mouth without pain. The money raised was used to cover travel and housing expenses while his family was in New York City during surgery.

Cinco de Mayo - May 5, 2004
The YPA held a Cinco de Mayo Fundraiser to raise money and awareness for the NFFR. There were over 100 people in attendance and $2,000 was raised through raffles and entrance fees. Special thanks to Michael Andrews, Owner of Manhattan Lounge where the event took place. Without his assistance the event would not have take place.

Wine Tasting - September 9, 2003
45 Young Professionals showed up to help raise money and spread the word about the NFFR and its mission. The event was held at Vintage New York - SoHo; where attendees were taught about 8 different types of New York Wines. The evening began with greetings from the YPA President Samantha Maltin and Vice-President Michael Josephs followed by a brief presentation by the Institute's Nurse Practitioner, Patricia Chibbaro. Ms. Chibbaro shared several stories about her experiences with children with facial deformities and their families.
