FASHION FOR MEDICINE
NBC's Matt Lauer and singer-songwriter-pianist Peter Cincotti turn out for the cause

On Friday, August 4th, the NFFR and Ermenegildo Zegna proudly presented Fashion for Medicine, a glamorous benefit in the Hamptons. Set against a lush garden and backlit trees the event took place at the home of Werner and Elizabeth Walbröl in Water Mill, New York which was located on the water, provided a beautiful backdrop for the occasion.

The night featured a spectacular Fashion Show which presented Italian Fall 2006 designs from Ermenegildo Zegna, Agnona and Buccellati. Saks Fifth Avenue provided the stunning Agnona collections while Sergio Rossi provided elegant women's footwear to complete the runway looks. Agnona, the women's collection owned by Ermenegildo Zegna, showed luxurious pieces such as double-faced cashmere jackets, cashmere capes and silk/cashmere wraps.

The show was followed by a live auction hosted by Matt Lauer along with Selby Kiffer of Sotheby's and was complimented by cocktails and savory bites. All this led up to the special appearance by Peter Cincotti, where the 22-year-old singer-songwriter-pianist performed under the moonlight for over 300 guests.

Fashion for Medicine and the generous support of Ermenegildo Zegna provided an outstanding opportunity for the NFFR to travel to the Hamptons in its quest to heighten awareness for children with craniofacial deformities and provide a memorable evening for its loyal donors. The NFFR would like to thank the Gala Chairs, Antoinette Guerinni-Maraldi and Werner and Elizabeth Walbröl as well as the Executive Chairs, Fiorenza Scholey Cohen and Karen Crook for all their hard work and dedication to the event. Special thanks to the Walbröls for lending their home which became the perfect venue for Fashion for Medicine!
