The National Foundation for Facial Reconstruction celebrated
its 50th ANNIVERSARY on Wednesday, May 30, 2001 at Tavern
on the Green. The spectacular evening raised over $900,000
to support the treatment of children with craniofacial differences.
The NFFR is grateful to its generous supporters for participating in this milestone event. The event was chaired by Mrs. H. Virgil Sherrill and vice-chaired by Bill McGahan, Scott Greenstein, and Nancy Tilghman.
We are privileged to have recognized four distinguished honorees, Dr. Joseph G. McCarthy, Director of the Institute of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery, Jon Wurtzburger, President of AirLifeLine, Richard Scrushy, President and CEO of HealthSouth, and Cindy McCain. The NFFR also recognized three long-time outstanding supporters: Variety, The Children’s Charity, The Mortimer J. Harrison Trusts, and J. Peter Hoguet, Chairman of the NFFR Board of Trustees.
